Unicenter Application Performance Monitor r3.5.1 has been certified
with Unicenter NSM r11

Contained below is the scope of Unicenter Application Performance Monitor r3.5.1 and Unicenter NSM r11.

Unicenter Application Performance Monitor r3.5.1 can be installed on a system that has Unicenter NSM r11. The following considerations need to be taken:

1. Silent installation of Unicenter Application Performance Monitor r3.5.1 on a Unicenter NSM r11 will use the Ingres DB for the WV and EM repository. The historical reporting components will continue using SQL DB.
   
   
2. Silent install of Unicenter Application Performance Monitor r3.5.1 is not supported when Unicenter NSM r11 is previously installed.
   
   
3. Currently, Unicenter Application Performance Monitor r3.5.1 doesn't support Unicenter Management Portal r11 or Web Reporting Server r11
   
   Unicenter Application Performance Monitor r3.5.1 plus the following fixes are required for NSM r11 support:
   
   
• QO76105 (Manager)
  
  
• QO76120 (Agent)
  
  
• QI76471 (Web Reports PIB)

An existing installation of Unicenter Application Performance Monitor r3.5.1containing Unicenter NSM 3.x can be upgraded to Unicenter NSM r11. The following considerations need to be taken:

1. When installing or upgrading to Unicenter NSM r11, the WV and EM repository will be migrated to Ingres. SQL data for historical Data Collection for Unicenter Application Performance Monitor r3.5.1 will not be migrated to Ingres. The historical reporting components will continue to use the SQL database.
   
   
2. Before reinstalling Unicenter Application Performance Monitor r3.5.1 on a system where an upgrade to Unicenter NSM r11 has been performed, the master image fixes needed to support Unicenter NSM r11 need to be applied. (See section 1 for installation considerations.)
   
   
3. Currently, Unicenter Application Performance Monitor r3.5.1 doesn't support Unicenter Management Portal r11 or Web Reporting Server r11. Do not reinstall Unicenter Application Performance Monitor 3.5.1 Web Reports on a machine with either Unicenter Management Portal r11 or Web Reporting Server r11.
