Advantage CA-Telon PWS Option r4.1 SP3

We are pleased to announce the availability of SP3 for r4.1 of Advantage CA-Telon Application Generator and Advantage CA-Telon Application Generator PWS Option.

Enhancements for SP3 include:

• The CICS TDF no longer abends with a S0C4 under z/OS 1.4 when definition defaults for CICS, IMS/DC, TSO, batch or AS/400 are updated in option 1D (Update Definition Defaults). The CICS TDF also no longer abends with an AICA/ASRA when an attempt is made to update a CPYCALL on the "Update DB2 Detail Data Access" (S147) screen.
• The TDF custom code editor (S151) no longer abends with a S0C1 when a custom code member is copied from one TDF program to another.
• The correct DLIDSC keys are now displayed on the "Update Segment" (S135) screen in the TDF when some lower-level segments in a complex DL/I database (i.e., with multiple DBDs on one or more lower levels) are updated.
• The CURSOR-BLANK-ATTR attribute field is once again generated for COBOL IMS/DC and TSO programs.
• IMS/DC I/O merge module ADRAMRGE now works like the CICS I/O merge module: it no longer converts imbedded underscores to spaces when OUTIFIL=UNDERSCORE. Users who want an imbedded underscore to be converted to a space should space out the underscore as they enter a value in the field.
• Numerous modifications have been made to the definition and generation of Stored Procedures:
  • Corrections have been made to the generation of stored procedures with PRMSTYL=N as well as those with decimal or numeric parameters with decimal places; corrections have also been made to programs that call a stored procedure with a parameter of type DATE, GRAPHIC, or VARGRAPHIC.
  • The maximum number of parameters that may be passed to a stored procedure has been increased from 50 to 500.
  • The description for a stored procedure is no longer always changed to "CREATED BY DB2 CATALOG IMPORT" on export.
